Beihang International Summer School (ISS)
Four-week program held in July, open for undergraduate students.
The summer school was first launched in 2014. Over 60 courses are offered in English, covering a wide range of disciplines in Sciences, Engineering and Humanities. Students also have opportunities to acquire knowledge of China and Chinese culture.
International Graduate Summer School in Aeronautics and Astronautics (IGSS)
One-week program held in July, open for postgraduate students.
Activities include seminars,lectures, team competition, and technical tours. The program aims at stimulating creative thinking and promoting exchanges among graduate students from across the world in the field of aeronautics and astronautics.
International Collegiate Design and Innovation Competition (ICDIC)
One-week program held in August, open for undergraduate students.
Participants will be grouped and assigned projects at the outset of the competition. With no preparation beforehand, participants are required to figure out a solution within a short time and present it for evaluation. Additional activities include academic forums, study tours, and visits to historical and scenic spots in Beijing.
"Fengru Cup" Innovation Competition
One-week program held in April, open for undergraduate students.
Students present their own innovations and inventions on given topics, such as “Energy Saving and Emission Cutting” and “Future Aircraft”. Additional activities include special lectures,science salons, workshops and a student innovation expo. The past two decades have witnessed some 13,420 innovations projects involving 34,208 participants in the competition. Many of these went on to be granted patents and produced commercially.
