From June 22 to 29, the 2019 Air & Space Summer Camp was held at Beihang University. 156 faculty members and students from 24 universities in Beijing, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan participated in this summer camp. Packed into one exciting week, the summer camp opened up to students the fascinating world of Chinese aerospace industry with various activities including academic lectures on aerospace related topics, campus visits, science& technology forum and cultural tours.

To better encourage practice and innovation, a new science and technology forum was launched as part of the summer camp. Students had the opportunity to collaborate in teams and showcase their work on aerospace-related projects.

First launched in 2009, the Air & Space Summer Camp has hosted more than 1,600 students from 28 universities in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and Beijing. It has become a crucial platform to promote knowledge sharing and communication among youth across Greater China.
