From May 13 to 17, Beihang University held the 2019 Global Partner Week.

 

From May 13 to 17, Beihang University held the 2019 Global Partner Week. 53 representatives from 20 universities around the globe gathered on our campus to attend this special event, bringing their study-abroad programs to Beihang students.

 

 

On May 15, as one of the highlight of the Global Partner Week, the International Conference on the Role of Internationalization Strategies in Building a World-Class University was held with the support of the Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building Project. University leaders, officials from the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and leading scholars in the field of higher education spoke at the conference. Over 130 representatives from 76 universities and higher education institutions (HEIs) in 17 countries participated.

 

The following day featured a series of inspiring presentations and parallel discussions focusing on topics in international higher education and internationalization at home. Representatives from Beihang and partner universities shared their best practices in student mobility, international talent recruitment and international curriculum development.

 

 

On the afternoon of May 16, the 2019 Study Abroad Fair was held to present global exposure opportunities for Beihang students. More than 400 students participated to learn first-hand about semester and short-term study programs offered by the university’s expansive global network.

 

During the Global Partner Week, Vice President Prof. Huang Haijun met with leaders from partner universities such as Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Saint-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation to discuss academic cooperation opportunities. The international Division and relevant schools also held discussions with representatives from Vienna University of Technology, Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino etc..
