International Relations Department (IRD) is on coordinating Beihang University’s international exchanges and cooperation, implementing Beihang University’s international and regional policies, and providing services to international students and scholars.

IRD provides services on a wide range of topics, including:

· Planning, coordinating, and implementing international activities

· Managing and exploring more opportunities for exchange programs

· Hosting international conferences

· Organizing the receptions of important foreign guests and the visits conducted by the university leadership

· Liaising with embassies and consulates

· Approval for international public affairs conducted by faculty members and students

· Providing services to foreign experts and visiting scholars

· Coordinating the admission of international students as well as students from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan

· Managing the Chinese Language Training Center of Beihang University and providing language courses to international students

· Facilitating the running of Beidou International Exchange and Training Center, Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) Education and Training Center in China, and the UN Regional Center for Space Science for Technology Education in Asia and the Pacific (China)
