In order to foster high-end and research oriented talents, the university vigorously promotes master's/doctoral double degree and joint educational programs with world-class universities.

At present, Beihang University has established more than 40 master's/doctoral degree and joint programs with overseas first-class universities, including double degree program between Beihang University and Politecnico di Milano in Italy, and double degree program of Beihang University and Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. Among these joint programs, many were supported by China Scholarship Council (CSC) as a special grant for the "International Cooperation and Training Program for Innovative Talents". In 2023, 15 double degree programs of Beihang University are supported by CSC.

The university offers a variety of joint educational programs under Beihang Global Campus framework. The university actively expands student exchange programs with world-class partner universities on recognition of credits, exemption of tuition fees, and mobility of students. At present, Beihang University has established over 100 high-level student exchange programs with partner universities in over 30 countries around the world including Beihang- École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile Student Exchange Program, Beihang- University of Toronto Student Exchange program, Beihang-Trinity College Dublin Student Exchange Program, etc. providing more than 400 places for exchange overseas universities every year.
