To enhance educational experience and cross-cultural understanding of students, Professor Huang Haijun, Vice President of Beihang University, and Professor Dana Samson, Prorector for International Relations of the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL), signed a student exchange agreement on behalf of the two universities on December 1.

According to the agreement, the two universities will exchange students on a semester basis to experience academic life in China and Belgium.
In addition to the exchange agreement, Professor Huang and Professor Samson also exchanged views to promote other areas of collaboration in education and research.
Founded via decree by Pope Martin V in 1425, the Catholic University of Louvain is the oldest Catholic university in Europe. As the biggest French-speaking university in Belgium, UCL ranked 129th globally according to the QS World University Ranking 2018.
