On May 3, a delegation led by Professor Young Moo Lee, President of Hanyang University, visited Beihang University. Beihang President Professor Xu Huibin and Vice President Professor Huang Haijun held a meeting with the delegation.
Professor Xu Huibin welcomed the delegation and addressed the growing prospects for cooperation between two universities. After that, Professor Huang Haijun introduced the latest achievements of Beihang in education, research and international cooperation. Professor Lee expressed his gratitude for the reception and presented on the history, academic standing and global connections of Hanyang University. Furthermore, the two sides held in-depth discussions on promoting student exchange and research collaborations.
During their stay, the delegation also visited the International Research Institute for Multidisciplinary Science and the National Key Laboratory of CNS/ATM.
Hanyang University, founded in 1939, is widely recognized as one of the leading private research universities of South Korea, especially in the field of engineering. Beihang and Hanyang University officially established a partnership in November 2013.
