On behalf of Beihang University, President XU Huibin recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding between Beihang and the University of Padova. According to the agreement, the two sides will endeavor to promote greater collaboration in fields such as research cooperation, staff mobility and joint supervision of students.
The University of Padova, founded in 1222, is one of the oldest and most prominent universities in Italy. It currently has about 58,136 students and 2,201 faculty and staff. It ranks 5th in Italy and 249th globally according to the QS World University Ranking 2019.
