Prof. Xu Huibin, President of Beihang University and Prof. Gilles Bloch, President of the Université Paris-Saclay signed a Memorandum of Understanding as well as a Cooperation Agreement on Double Degree PhD Programs between the two universities.
According to the agreement, Beihang and Paris-Saclay will enter into an all-round partnership in joint degree programs, staff exchange and research cooperation. Beihang also signed an agreement on double degree master program with one of its founding members Université Paris-Sud.
Launched in 2014, the Université Paris-Saclay is a French federal research university system located on the Plateau de Saclay near Paris. With the aim to become a world top 10 university, the University of Paris-Saclay integrates several leading grandes écoles, public universities, and research centers including Université Paris-Sud, Centrale-Supélec and ENS Paris-Saclay. According to the 2019 US News Best Global Universities Rankings, Université Paris-Saclay ranks 1st in France and 30th globally.
