The 2018 International Graduate Scholarship Fair (IGSF), sponsored by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), was held at Beihang University on October 12 and 13. Representatives from more than 100 universities in 17 countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, attended the fair to share their graduate programs and scholarship information with Chinese students.
On October 12, the networking event of IGSF 2018 was held at the Vision Hotel of Beihang University. Mr. Zhang Ning, Deputy Secretary General of CSC and Prof. Huang Haijun, Vice President of Beihang University attended the event and delivered welcome speeches to the participating universities.
On October 13, the IGSF was held in Beihang Gymnasium. With face-to-face consultations and information sessions, participating universities provided details on academic programs, admission policies and scholarships. More than 10 universities, including the University of Oxford, the University of Melbourne and the University of Calgary also offered workshops for students.
IGSF aims to foster face-to-face communication and partnerships between Chinese and overseas institutions. This is the third year that Beihang has hosted the scholarship fair.
