On August 2, Professor G. Q. Max Lu, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Surrey in England, visited Beihang University. Beihang President Professor Xu Huibin met with Professor Lu.
Professor Xu welcomed Professor Lu and presented the latest achievements of Beihang in education, research and international development. Professor Lu reported on the academic and research strengths of University of Surrey and expressed high expectations for the new partnership with Beihang. Both sides will work together to deepen cooperative partnerships in fields such as small satellites, materials science and IT technology.
During his stay, Professor Lu also delivered a lecture on innovation in energy materials to Beihang students.
