Beihang University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) signed two agreements extending institutional cooperation on academic exchange and the Beihang-CUHK Medical Engineering Joint Research Center.
The agreements were signed on February 12 during a meeting between Professor Duan Chongzhi, President of CUHK, and Professor Xu Huibin, President of Beihang.
At the meeting, Professor Xu Huibin welcomed Professor Duan Chongzhi and addressed the growing prospects for cooperation between two universities. Vice President Professor Huang Haibin introduced the latest achievements of Beihang in the fields of education, research and international development. After that the two sides reviewed previous achievements that have been made through cooperation and held in-depth discussions on promoting student exchange and research cooperation.
After the meeting, the CUHK delegation visited the laboratories of the School of Biomedical Engineering and Lunar Palace 1.
