Prof. Huang Haijun, Vice President of Beihang University, was invited to attend the 11th China-Korean University Presidents Forum held in Busan, South Korea.

From July 1 to July 2, Prof. Huang Haijun, Vice President of Beihang University, was invited to attend the 11th China-Korean University Presidents Forum held in Busan, South Korea. Over 100 representatives from 27 Korean Universities and 12 Chinese Universities, governments and embassies attended the forum.

 

With the theme of “the future of higher education in China and South Korea in the era of globalization”, university representatives held in-depth discussions on effective international cooperation to confront global challenges. Prof. Huang spoke at the forum on Beihang’s best practice in engineering education under the trend of globalization.

 

 

 

 

 

During the forum, Prof. Huang also met with President Chun Ho-hwan and Vice President Cho Gang-hee of Pusan National University (PNU) and signed cooperation as well as student exchange agreements. According to the agreements, the two sides will endeavor to promote greater collaboration in education and research, and exchange students on a semester basis.

 

 

Founded in 1946, Pusan National University is one of the best national universities in South Korea. Located in Busan, the country’s second largest city, it ranks among top 200 in the fields of aerospace engineering, architecture, civil engineering, materials science, medicine and chemical engineering, according to the QS World University Rankings 2019.
