INVITED SPEAKERS
Ulrich Teichler | Professor at the International Centre for Higher Education Research and the Department of Social Science, University of Kassel, Germany.
Former16-year director of the Centre. Vice-president of the University of Kassel from 1980 to 1982. Member of the International Academy of Education (IAE) and the Academia Europaea (AE), former chairman of the Consortium of Higher Education Researchers (CHER), former president and distinguished member of EAIR, vice-president and fellow of SRHE.Former 16-year director of the Centre. Member of the International Academy of Education (IAE) and the Academia Europaea (AE), former chairman of the Consortium of Higher Education Researchers (CHER), former president and distinguished member of EAIR, vice-president and fellow of SRHE, honorable member of the Gesellschaft für Hochschulfor- schung (GfHf), receiver of the Comenius Prize of UNESCO, and Dr. honoris causa of the University of Turku (Finland). Conducted research on higher education and the world of work; international comparison of higher education systems, the academic profession, and international mobility; and internationalization of higher education. Published more than 1,400 publications and more than 1,000 visits to more than 80 countries for teaching, research collaboration, conferences, presentations, and consultancy.
Anthony Welch| Professor at School of Education and  Social Work, the University of Sydney, Australia.
His numerous publications address education reforms, principally within Australia and Asia-Pacific. A consultant to state, national and international agencies, governments, institutionsandfoundations; his project experience includes East and SE Asia, particularly in higher education. His work has been translated into a dozen languages, and he has been Visiting Professor in the USA, UK, Germany, France, Japan, Malaysia, and Hong Kong (China).
Guy Trainin | Melvin and Jane Nore professor of Education and Chair at the Department of Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education; the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA.
His research focuses in the areas of teacher education, literacy development and literacy integration with technology and the arts. In recent years Dr.Trainin has been studying21st centurylearning in schools in Nebraska and China with a specific focus on mobile devices and creativity.
Futao Huang| Professor at the Research Institute for Higher Education, Hiroshima University, Japan.
Co-Investigator in CGHE’s Global Higher Education Engagement research program. His research interests include the internationalization of higher education, the academic profession, and higher education in East Asia. He has published widely in Chinese, English and Japanese languages.

Comparative study of various models of internationalization. Identification of opportunities and challenges brought about by the internationalization of higher education.  

03   Technology and Management: Facilitators for the Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions
Investigation onhow technology and management facilitate the internationalization process in higher education institutions. Analysis of the future trends ofthe technology and management in the internationalization of higher education. Discussion on how to maximize the potential of technology and management as facilitators for the internationalization of higher education institutions.
