七十四载薪火赓续，五洲四海校友荣归。10月25日下午，学校举办国际学生校友返校活动，来自11个国家的国际校友重返母校，共庆学校74周年华诞。国际合作部部长、国际学院院长白琳主持召开座谈会，国际学生导师代表、国际合作部及校友联络发展处有关负责人出席座谈。

Seventy-four years of legacy carried on; alumni from across the globe come home. On the afternoon of October 25, the university held an international alumni homecoming event. International alumni from 11 countries returned to their alma mater to celebrate the university's 74th anniversary. Prof. BAI Lin, Director of the International Relations Department and Dean of International School, representatives of international student supervisors, and relevant personnel from the International Relations Department and the Alumni Liaison and Development Office attended the meeting.

白琳首先代表学校向国际校友重返母校表示热烈欢迎。他表示，学校举办本次校友返校活动，旨在加强与校友的联络往来，提高学校支持服务校友能力，促进学校和校友双向赋能、共同发展。结合肯尼亚航天局局长、北航杰出校友基普科斯盖返校访问的案例，他指出大学与校友的情谊不会因毕业而隔断，广大国际校友是学校国际声誉的重要支撑，希望国际校友持续关注母校发展、积极助力校友组织建设，发挥母校对外交流的桥梁纽带作用。

BAI Lin first extended a warm welcome to the international alumni on behalf of the university. He said that the university organized this alumni homecoming event to strengthen contact and exchanges with alumni, enhance the university's capacity to support and serve alumni, and promote mutual empowerment and common development between the university and its alumni. Citing the case of Brigadier Hillary Kipkosgey, Acting Director General of the Kenya Space Agency and an outstanding alumnus of Beihang University, who recently returned to visit his alma mater, he pointed out that the bond between a university and its alumni is not severed by graduation. He noted that international alumni are an important support for the university's international reputation, and expressed the hope that they would continue to follow the university's development, actively contribute to the building of alumni organizations, and serve as a bridge for the university's external exchanges.

座谈会上，国际合作部副部长金天围绕学科建设、人才培养、科技创新、国际交流合作等向返校国际校友介绍了学校近年来的整体发展情况，阐释了学校建设中国特色世界一流大学的发展目标及有关重点举措。

JIN Tian, Deputy Director of the International Relations Department, briefed the returning international alumni on the university's overall development in recent years, focusing on disciplinary development, talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, and international exchanges and cooperation. He also elaborated on the university's goal of building a world-class university with Chinese characteristics and the relevant key initiatives and projects.

校友联络发展处王相予介绍了北航校友会建设运行总体情况，表示希望广大国际校友积极参与母校校庆、毕业季、招生宣传等相关工作，支持地区及学院校友会建设，充分发挥自身优势为学校发展贡献力量。

WANG Xiangyu from the Alumni Liaison and Development Office gave an overview of the Beihang Alumni Association's development and operation, expressing the hope that international alumni would actively participate in the university's anniversary celebrations, graduation season activities, international admissions promotion, and other related work, support the development of regional and school-level alumni associations, and fully leverage their strengths to contribute to the university's development.

2017级空间技术应用硕士研究生安瑞福（S.A.M. ARIF-UL-HAOUE）、2023级机械工程硕士研究生戴维（Oyename Ifeoluwa David）作为校友代表先后发言。两位校友深情回顾了在北航求学的难忘岁月，对母校的悉心培育表达感谢，并就加强国际校友组织建设，丰富校友活动等提出建议，表示愿意立足各自工作岗位发挥积极作用，助力母校各项事业发展。

S.A.M. Arif-ul-Haoue, a 2017 cohort master's student in Space Technology Applications, and Oyename Ifeoluwa David, a 2023 cohort master’s student in Mechanical Engineering, spoke one after another as alumni representatives. The two alumni fondly recalled their unforgettable years studying at Beihang and expressed their gratitude to their alma mater for its careful cultivation. They also offered suggestions on strengthening the development of international alumni organizations and enriching alumni activities, and expressed their willingness to play an active role in their respective positions and contribute to the development of the university’s various undertakings.

座谈会现场气氛热烈融洽。与会校友重温求学岁月，畅叙师生同窗情谊。大家表示，将持续做好北航故事的传播者，主动联络全球国际校友，积极搭建交流桥梁，为推动学校国际化事业高质量发展贡献力量。

The meeting was held in a warm and harmonious atmosphere. The alumni in attendance reminisced about their student days and fondly recalled the friendships they had shared with their teachers and classmates. They expressed their commitment to continuing to serve as storytellers of Beihang, actively connecting with international alumni around the world, building bridges for exchanges, and contributing to the high-quality development of the university’s internationalization efforts.
